Decisions, Decisions

Occasionally in life you have to make hard choices. Friday March 18th was one of those days that hard choices had to be made. We had tickets to the BYU Men's chorus spring concert and the BYU basketball team was playing Virginia Tech in the 2nd round of the NIT tournament at the Marriott Center. In the end we decided to go to the Men's chorus concert because, 1. They are always great, and 2. The Men's Chorus always wins. Also we had invited my mom to go, we were going to Gloria's for dinner and we couldn't get tickets to the basketball game.
Over at the Marriott Center BYU played host to Virginia Tech
In the end I kept track of the score of the game on my phone during the concert and we got home in time to watch the last 9 minutes of a very exciting game.
I snapped this photo just after we were reminded that no photography was allowed during the concert. Technically this was before the opening prayer so it was before, not during the concert
The concert was wonderful as usual. They performed music from around the world including a music video of Baba Yetu recorded up the south fork of Provo canyon with Alex Boye'. They also performed a piece called 'Cum Sancto Spiritu' in honor of Johann Sebastian Bach's 331st birthday. They ended the concert with 'Lach Heim, To Life' from Fiddler on the Roof. A great concert as usual
