Why did this take so long?

We moved into our house 9 years ago on Memorial day weekend. The downstairs kitchen has two small pantry's, one that has built in shelves and the other which is more of a utility closet. The first year we were here I built some small shelves in the corner of the utility closet for bottled grape juice.
Everything in its place and a place for everything
[Susie made me put the San Pelegrino on the top shelve as I'm the only one that drinks it]
At the time I thought of putting a set of shelves in that closet but it seemed quite small for a commercially available unit. For 9 years we have stored a variety of things in this closet mostly by piling stuff into a pile. This of course is very inconvenient if you need to get something that is at the bottom of the pile (which honestly is almost always where whatever you are looking for is).
This weekend I finally measured the closet and found a set of shelves at Home Depot that fit perfectly. Only drawback was we have to leave the cover on the breaker box open. We won't necessarily be able to put more stuff in the closet but we will be able to get at what we have stored in there.
