Thursday January 7th was the 11th anniversary of our first date. We do have other excitement in our lives but we are always looking for an excuse to go to our favorite restaurant, the Bangkok Thai. We enjoyed some of our favorite Thai food and finished off the meal with sliced mangos over sticky rice with coconut milk and ice cream. We were given this last year for our 10 year anniversary and it is one of our favorite desserts now.

After the meal I was putting on my coat and my cell phone came flying out of my coat pocket and smacked into the corner of the table. It wasn't dead but it was nearly a death blow. I can still get email and texts but phone calls are a little garbled. Fortunately I was due for a phone upgrade from work so my new phone will be here on Tuesday.

To finish off the evening we attended the BYU vs. Santa Clara basketball game at the Marriott center. The students were in rare form due to Utah cancelling future games with the cougars based on claims that the play was getting unsafe. Lots of great signs. My favorite was 'Google search for Krystowiak and the suggestion. Did You Mean . . . Coward'. Also the sign that 'No Utes were harmed in the making of this sign'. The Cougs put a hurting on Santa Clara beating them 97 to 61.
