The week of March 28th was the Great Western Conference. This is an annual event hosted by the Arizona Professional Pest Organization (basically the Arizona State Pest Control Association). The meeting is held in Mesa at their convention center. I attended the conference with my sales associate, Nick Grisafe.

One of my main reasons for traveling to Phoenix was to sit down with my brother in law and discuss fly fishing as part of our Alaska vacation. We were able to get together and make plans for a trip the first weekend we are there. Hopefully it will be enjoyable fishing.
Phoenix was unseasonably cool this week. Highs were in the low 70's and I even wore a jacket one day. The meetings were good and I especially enjoyed the presentation on mosquito control by the president of the American Mosquito control association, Stan Cope, and the 2 hour rodent control seminar by Bobby Corrigan. He always makes learning about rodent control interesting.

It was a profitable week. I was even able to get a job lead for Kyle with the golf sales unit of Target Specialty Products, one of our big distributors.
