Chelsea & Nathan's Wedding

Friday May 27th was the wedding of Susie's niece, Chelsea Frost to Nathan Macdonald. Chelsea lived with us for a year so we were quite happy for her. The wedding was held at a location called Luland Falls up Parley's Canyon. We decided to drive up the back way through Park City. When we changed freeways in Park City we were a bit worried as the skies were gray and threatening but when we arrived at Luland Falls the weather was beautiful.

We joined Susie's sisters Mari and Joey and their husbands at the wedding. Chelsea is Susie's brother Bert's younger daughter so he and Tiina had traveled from Alaska for the celebration.
The wedding was performed by Chelsea's bishop. He did a great job. Chelsea and Nathan exchanged vows and then the bishop performed the ceremony. Chelsea's vows were quite long and my brother-in-law Kevin joked that she was a little unclear on the term 'eternal vows'.

After the ceremony we enjoyed dinner and visiting in the pavilion. Chelsea looked very happy and we hope this is a good step for her.

After the wedding Susie and I returned to Park City where I had booked a room at the Newpark Resort hotel. We arrived around 8 and decided to go get some desert. Then we took a soak in the hot tub on the deck to our room. It was a very nice room and we enjoyed an evening away.
