Food Truck Roundup

Thursday was my turn to make dinner but I just couldn't come up with any ideas. When Susie got home I suggested that we go to the Food Truck Rally in south Provo.
The rally is held in a parking lot off of 5th south across from the Front Runner station. This particular evening there were about a dozen trucks. There was a good variety of food. Couple of Pizza wagons, soda wagon, calzone truck, Korean and other Asian food, hot dog on a stick and a grilled cheese truck. We each got $10 and went to find what interested us most. Susie got a Korean Bulgogi Beef bowl, Kevin got Dave's Spicy Crack grilled cheese sandwich with grilled cheese, tomatoes, and kettle chips. I got a beef calzone.
We ate standing up. Susie and I were easily the oldest people there and I think I was the only man wearing long pants and a dress shirt. It was like eating at the carnival. The food was good and it was a fun experience. Maybe we'll have to try this when the grandkids come this summer.
