Thursday evening was Eagle Board of Review. I'm getting used to this activity now as I've done it 4 times in the past year. Our newest Eagle scout is Yhann (pronounced Jahn) Masbernat. Yhann moved here with his family 5 years ago from Chile. His father was a Stake President in Santiago.
When they arrived they knew nothing about scouting and it took a bit of effort to persuade them that Yhann should be active in boy scouts. Quickly he caught the vision and this past year he kicked it into high gear and finished his merit badges and his project. We owe a lot to Sam Andrus who really got him motivated.

Our hope is that BSA National office will turn his award around fast enough that we can hold his Eagle Court of Honor while his grandparents are still visiting from Chile.
