Last Section

This morning I finally planted the last section of bare ground in the back lawn. It was only a foot wide and about 15 feet long but it has taken me all summer to get to it.

The new grass is in the shade under the pine trees

Hopefully the cooler weather will allow this new grass to get up and established before it freezes. As you can see from the photo there is still a lot of red fescue in the back lawn, My goal is to get all of that replaced over the next couple of years.
