Valentines Day #10

Ten years ago this week I sent Susie a Valentine for the first time. This year we had a bit of a unique Valentines. Originally we had planned to go to Salt Lake City to visit the church history museum but it closed in October so we improvised.
Red Velvet pancakes and fresh squeeze orange juice for breakfast
Friday morning I made Red Velvet pancakes for Breakfast served with vanilla yogurt whipped cream and berry syrup. Friday evening we watched Gettysburg on the Blue Ray player I bought Susie for the holiday. Kevin and I then watched "Defenders of the Galaxy" to check out the high def features.
Saturday morning to celebrate the holiday Susie and I were at the church to clean the chapel. We did bathrooms and vacuumed. Then Susie went to the chapel to practice the organ and I went to the Mojave building to referee two basketball games. Then we were off to the Bangkok Thai for lunch. After lunch we visited my Mother and took her a Valentine and two cupcakes.
Cheer leaders with Valentines Day pom-poms
We finished up the day with a hot date to the BYU vs. Pacific basketball game. We received word this week that our seats in the Marriott Center are going to be upgraded over the summer which means they will probably triple in cost next year. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
The last media timeout is quite a show
The game was close until the last 10 minutes. It was also a bit strange as this was the first game I'be been to where they had no planned half time entertainment. Not the most memorable valentines day ever but a fun and relaxing day.
