Last fall I gave my old Toro rear tine tiller to my brother Bryce. I just didn't have a need for anything that large. I still needed a tiller for spring planting so yesterday I went to the Home Depot and picked up a Powermate Model PCV43 gas powered cultivator. It's really just a small roto-tiller.
So far I've used it to till up all my raised garden beds and to prepare the planting bed behind the house for our raspberries that have been taking up space in my spring garden bed. The tiller has a 2 cycle engine like my chain saw. It has pretty good power and does a nice job of breaking up the soil. Can't wait to use it to prepare my spring seed beds.
Now that the soil is ready I'll be moving raspberries this weekend.
