Sprinkler Repairs 2015

This will be the first post about trying to get the sprinklers in the back yard right for this year. The new valves are leaking more than ever and I have to get them repaired soon.
Today I installed the new controller for the back yard. The old controller was the same as the one we had in our house in California so it is at least 26 years old. The old controller was falling apart and needed to be replaced. I purchased a Hunter controller like we have in the front yard.
I was able to put it right above the sprinkler valves by running the power from the outlet in the wall under the deck and down the stair supports. It is amazing to me how long it takes to install a controller but I figure this took about 90 minutes. Now I just need to bite the bullet and re-do all the valves and see if I can get them to stop leaking. That will probably will have to wait until after scout camp. Man, I hate sprinklers!
